We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Andrew M. Saucci, Sr. on March 12, 2022 at the age of 88. The wake was held at the Fullerton Funeral Home in Baldwin on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 and a funeral Mass was offered at St. Christopher's Church in Baldwin on Thursday, March 17, 2022.

Prayer for the dead is one of the spiritual acts of mercy, and you can do this even if you were unable to attend the wake or funeral Mass. We ask that everyone continue to pray for him even after the funeral. While we have good reason to believe that he is with God, we must not be presumptuous about such matters. If you live in a parish whose Mass book has available Masses, please consider having a Mass offered there. Alternatively, many retired or mission priests are in need of Mass stipends, so this can be an opportunity to perform both a spiritual act of mercy for the dead and a corporal act of mercy for a priest in need. If you do not know of such a priest, start asking around; finding one may be easier than you think.
